  1. Skype is a great tool for reconnecting. I’m not in the military, but I live abroad and I still get to see my parents once a week on Skype. It’s great to be able to see each other even when you’re thousands of miles apart.

  2. Trump card! So true. And I love number four. I used to manage a customer support center, and we heard that excuse a lot. 😉

    On another note, thanks for the nomination! I apologize for the very (I mean very) delayed response. 🙂 I sincerely appreciate the encouragement and am so glad you have enjoyed my posts. Reading your own blog makes me feel very lucky to have my hubby around all the time… we’ve been anticipating a month of separation and complaining about it — your posts definitely put this very short time into perspective!

    All in all, thanks again, and may you not need to use that trump card too many times during this deployment! 😉
